Pulled from the Pits
A Maine-based foster and volunteer-run dog rescue "dedicated to rescuing dogs who are homeless, in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation, owner surrenders, and those in danger of abuse or neglect". While most of their rescues end up being pitty and bully mixes, they'll assist any breed in need.

Sweetpups
A Texas-based rescue "offer[ing] medical assistance, education. and preventative measures to help socially and economically underserved communities in [their] area. [They] pull from pounds and take a few owner surrenders, but most of [their] dogs have clearly been abandoned and left to fend for themselves". Volunteers with Sweetpups personally drive their rescues up and down the east coast to meet their new adoptive pet parents, as they did for Matt and Faith when they adopted their french bulldog, Moose!

MS is BS New England
"MS is BS [was started in] Dracut back in 2015 and at the time, [their] goal was to fundraise for other Multiple Sclerosis charities. Since then, [their] fundraising approach changed and [they] brought [their] fundraising in house to support local MS patients through [their] grant program."
